Pediatrician recommended!

Asher is a bright and loving 8-year-old boy who is currently battling cancer. While in Houston receiving treatment, his mother noticed Asher had a hard time navigating the large hospital and would become extremely fatigued. At times she would find herself having to carry Asher through the hospital which was hard on her as well. His mother put out a plea on Facebook asking if anyone knew or any resources in San Antonio that could assist with a pediatric wheelchair for her son and thankfully her friend who happens to be a pediatrician recommended Project MEND. Project MEND was able to meet Asher’s needs by assisting him with a pediatric wheelchair. This wheelchair will now make the world of difference not only in Asher’s life but also his mothers. Project MEND can serve children of all ages: infants, toddlers, adolescents, and teens up to the age of 18 and we are only able to do with the donations we so graciously receive from the community. Consider donating your used pediatric or adult medical equipment to Project MEND. #Donate #Reuse #Repeat
